Sixteen year old Seth Amonundy is a sweet and caring boy who works part time at the Shotgun Shack for Mrs. Irene to earn money. His mom works for people in need, so that she can earn money for Seth, whose father passed away before Seth was born. Seth really hasn't been seeing much of his mom due to the fact that she works most of the time. One day while Seth is going to go check his mail, three ex-boyfriends of Azura, Seth's current girlfriend, come to get revenge due to jealousy. Seth finds himself injured, because the three guys had beaten him with a bat..... The cops come about three minutes later, but they couldn't really care less. The next morning Choo Choo ( a boxer who is a really good friend of Seth's family) comes to tell Seth the news that his mother has been killed. Seth tries to hunt down the killer, but only finds himself in extreme trouble.

Opinion:

I was disappointed in this book, because it seemed to focus more on Seth's relationship with his dog and not enough on what was going on in the book when his mom was killed. My favorite part of the story was when Seth and Azura were throwing watermelons at each other, because I thought it was cute. Azura was my favorite character because she was fun, cool and confident. While this book didn't live up to my expectations, anyone who likes adventure and action- packed stories may want to give it a try.
