Elena Watkins is a young teenage girl who just wants a normal life and wants her dad to stop forcing them to move every three months. She got part of her wish when dragons came for her and her dad. A girl named Elena finds out her father was a dragon.  She is sent to a special school for kids who are dragons or also called “Dragonians.” Soon after she meets a boy named Lucian and they fall in love. But nothing about this school is always rainbows and butterflies; there is something called “claiming,” which is basically a battle to the death. I recommend this book to all students and teachers all around the world; they would love this.

Then, before her eyes, she saw a dragon, a real, live dragon. Her father then runs out of the car and tells her to run, and she does.
