Seven Stories Up by Laurel Snyder was about a girl named Annie who meets her grandma for the first time, and her grandma seems mad. When Annie goes to bed that night she puts on her grandma's old sleeping mask, and when she wakes up...she's in 1937. She's in a girl named Mary's room, but Mary likes to be called Molly. Annie realizes Molly is her grandma when her grandma was her age.

Calidius soon learns of Guiamo's intelligence and creativity after Guiamo builds a trap for fish. Calidius sends Guiamo to his friend, Gabinius, to teach Guiamo furthermore. Gabinius teaches Guiamo hunting, letters, numbers, etc. Gabinius learns of a prophecy that connects with Guiamo and finds out that Guiamo is the son of Mars. He acquires Mars' original spear, Lúin.

In this story, there is a mystery about a green gas that people can see if they fart.The story begins with just a normal boy named Julius, who is not that great at typical academic school subjects. He lives in a family where his father has just gotten divorced and this makes him upset. But as the story develops, he finds himself solving a mystery with a strange person who acts like a zombie. Towards the end he tries everything to enter his theories of the case.
