Labeled by Mark Salvatore is about a teenager named Vinnie. It it set sometime in the 1970's. He lives in New York and is more of an introvert, who doesn't do well in school. He decides to hitchhike to California with his two friends. This begins his journey of trying to find out who he is. As he begins to get deeper into drugs and alcohol, spending what little money they get on acid, he has to make a decision for himself.
Jonathan Lusk was a little boy with a good life, living in Boston with a nice house in 1948. However, his parents suddenly became involved in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and unfortunately this causes both of their deaths. With nowhere else to go, Jonathan was sent to live with his grandparents in Japan. Shortly after that, Jonathan's beloved grandfather was killed by yakuza, Japanese extremists, because he had a hand in convicting one of their leaders. Now Jonathan is completely alone, the only American in this strange new world.

Angie is not very popular at school or in her home life, and she has tried to kill herself before because of what's been happening in her life. She is so tormented that everybody even calls her Fat Angie because of her weight.
In the beginning of this story, a girl Magpie and a boy Dilly are trying to fight a witch that has cast a spell over Dilly's father in a magical world. They meet up with some old friends of Magpie's and need to come up with a solution to deal with this evil witch. They combine their powers with a friend named Smudge (who is looking after the children) to deal with the witch. Will they save Dilly's father and keep their own?
This was a really well written book. It had a lot of plot twists, surprises, and some action all mixed together very well. The main character is named Cyn Hargrave, and she is not your normal teenager. She can take in souls into her own body, and they live there until they can get into the afterlife. These people are called echos. She has no control over the souls in her body, and they can take her over at any time. They cause Cyn to black out, and they can take over her body. The other main character is a demon named Avian. Heaven didn't want him, and hell shunned him.

Bluffton is about a boy, Henry, who had an ordinary life in Muskegon, Michigan. Then the Vaudevillians came. One of the Vaudevillians was a boy named Buster. Buster was a very good performer in the circus. After the first game of baseball they became inseparable friends. Buster came every summer break and the 2 boys fished, played pranks, and played lots of baseball when Henry didn’t have to work for his dad. One summer Henry found Buster and Sally, who is a neighbor of Henry’s, sitting on Sally’s porch and talking.

In order to do that, Yoshiko will have to overcome trials that will make himself stronger.
