This book is about a girl neamed Leila who is on a road trip to see the Northern lights. The story is then told in the perspective that she meets on her trip. All of the people see meets need Leila to help them and she helps them all find what they missing.

Life is hard when you are a teenage vampire. Even as a vampire, he has problems like any other monster/kid. Nox has a crush on Lily the Werewolf, but is bullied by Chug the Thug.  Chug the Thug is demanding 50 dollars by the end of the week or Chug will tell everyone Nox likes Lily the Werewolf. And to top it all, the Battle of the Bands venue will not allow vampires to perform or even go to the event.  This is annoying and irritating for Nox since he is the lead singer of the band. He created the band, naming it Nox and the Day Breakers.
