P.T. Wilkie and his friend Gloria Ortega are back with more wacky adventures at the Wonderland.  Award-winning actress Cassie McGinty, Popstar Aidan Tyler, and YouTube sensation Kevin the Monkey are filming their new movie Beach Party Surf Monkey at the Wonderland!  This is an opportunity of a lifetime for the motel. If the Wonderland is featured in a movie, then no one can tear it down, not even P.T.’s obnoxious neighbors Mr. Conch and his daughter Veronica, who own the Conch Reef Resort.  But as soon as filming starts, it becomes clear that things are not going as planned.  First, Aidan Tyler is your typical teenage popstar who thinks he is above the law and can do whatever he wants, such as throw a temper tantrum like a three-year old.  Then Kevin the Monkey supposedly runs away halfway through the filming.  But did Kevin really run away? Will he ever return?  Is Beach Party Surf Monkey done for? Or will it be Beach Party Surf Pig?  Read this book to find out!

Opinion:

I loved this book from the first chapter! Chris Grabenstein is a wonderful author for this age group.  He knows how to put in just enough humor, suspense, and adventure! My favorite character in this book would probably have to be Kevin the Monkey; he was hilarious! He rode a tricked out surf board and threw poop at Aidan Tyler! ( In my opinion he got exactly what he deserved! ) He was also very cute. I suggest this book to tweens and teens who want to be transported to the magic and wonder of the Wonderland motel.
