This book is about a boy named Miles.  He just moved to a new house, which means he has a new school.  At his previous school, he was known as the school prankster.  He wants to be the prankster at his new school, too.  When he gets to school, everything looks normal, except for a car parked above the steps right in front of the doors.  Miles now knows that there is already a prankster.  Miles is determined to find him and become known as the new, better prankster.

Opinion:

I think that this book was pretty good.  I liked the characters and the setting because they were realistic as well as an important part of the book.  Some books I’ve read seemed to me that the authors randomly chose where the story takes place.  The illustrations went well with the parts of the story being told.   The book was funny because it had lots of unexpected twists and turns.  I recommend this book for kids who are 8-13.
