The characters are charming, and the plot is delightful. This upbeat book entertains and with bonus fun facts, teaches a few things about spiders and crickets. The book’s back matter also includes Story Questions and Answers, and a relevant Bible verse. The uncomplicated illustrations express and reflect the emotions of the characters beautifully.
