Four teen dancers tell the story of one dancer’s kidnapping. Diamond knows not to talk to strangers. But when a charming man offers her the chance of a lifetime, how can she resist? This story shows the impact that one poor decision can have on not just the person who made it, but their friends and family as well. Panic will remind readers that not everyone is who they seem to be.

Opinion:

This is such a realistic and gripping book. As teens in the 21st century, we all have heard not to trust strangers. However, this book shows how easy it is to believe someone too readily. This story is not only about Diamond’s kidnapping, but also touches on other important topics such as family, friends, and dating violence. Although the story is on the more serious side, readers will find themselves not being able to put it down or forget it.
