LaLa is mad because everything that could go wrong that day did. She is not made cheerful, even by the strawberries on the counter. Her mom asks her what’s wrong and tries to help. LaLa needs to figure out what will help her not be angry, because being angry is no fun! What positive solution can be found?

Opinion:

LaLa’s Angry Pizza would be a helpful book for younger kids who either need help regulating their feelings or are just learning how to deal with emotions as they get older. Every kid needs to learn how to problem solve when it comes to dealing with their emotions. This book shows how LaLa overcame her anger by finding something productive to do – create! I liked how even though LaLa was angry, she didn’t lose control but rather found a way to deal with it. I would recommend this book to my little sisters, who are 4 and 8.
