Cameron, age ten, is an adept musician and an introverted middle schooler. One of his outlets is his ability to play the guitar. The troubles of being bullied, living with an alcoholic, and having a sentimental mother are far from easy. When a mysterious girl in black leather enters his life one day, Cameron's entire world begins to change. His musical abilities are tested in ways he never expected as he embarks on an unexpected musical journey.

Opinion:

GODS OF SOUND is an immensely entertaining read. Several real-life issues are discussed in this book including being bullied and having few friends.  I really loved the thrilling, imaginative plot with plenty of twists and turns along the way. The characters were great, especially Cameron, the protagonist. He had numerous flaws which added to his interesting personality. The other characters were amazing as well although they didn’t receive as much attention as Cameron, but they still helped in making this story interesting.
