The Cat Who Chased Ghosts is about a family who inherited a haunted house along with a cat named Whiskers. This cat protects the family from a ghost who lives in their house. The family includes the mom (Catherine), the dad (Robert), their son (Timmy), and their daughter (Amelia). Timmy, his friends, Amelia, and Amelia's dog went on an adventure to a cave when all of a sudden Amelia's dog ran off. Timmy, his friends, and Amelia separated, and one of Timmy's friends got lost. They talked to spirits to try and find Timmy's lost friend and dog.  One of the spirits had seen footprints of both dog and human ones. Timmy, his friends, and Amelia followed the spirit to try and find their lost friend.  Did they or did they not find their lost friend and lost dog?

Opinion:

I felt that The Cat Who Chased Ghosts is an enjoyable story. This book is very suspenseful, and it will have you wondering what happens next. It was a page-turner, with adventures and a creepy backstory.  Timmy's adventure to find his friend with his ghost-chasing tabby cat caused me to get goose bumps. Although Timmy was scared, he was brave and courageous to keep looking for his lost friend.

This book, even though it had suspense and ghosts, is not a scary book to read. The writer does a really good job being descriptive. That allowed me to visualize what is going on in the book. It was like a movie playing in my head while I was reading.  The way the author describes and explains the creepy house, and the ongoing adventures of Timmy and his friends will leave you wanting to read more.

The author made this book an easy read. You will hang off the edge of your seat. The way The Cat Who Chased Ghosts was written makes me want to read more of the author's books.
