The Fog of Forgetting is about 5 kids who take on many adventures. Knox, Chase and Teddy are at their summer home when they meet two new neighbors: Knox has an idea of taking the boat out on the ocean when his parents aren't home. Chase thinks it's a bad idea, but he isn't going to let his little brother Teddy go out on the ocean without him. They invite the new neighbors along. They all hop in and start rowing. After they're on the water for a while, the fog rolls in.... They end up on a island called Ayda and are forced to trust a scary man named Seaborne. They meet many new people and face adventures they never thought they would. What will these 5 kids face on this unfamiliar island, and will they return home?

Opinion:

This book was an adventure book. I like how the author put a lot of detail into it, but some parts were a bit boring. The book was confusing and hard to understand at times. There were a lot of things going on at once in the story, which made it confusing. One thing the author could have done differently is have each conflict happen in one period of time instead of having them happen all at once. Although the book was confusing, I liked the plot of the story.
