They reach the festival that was being hosted, and they see a tall guy staying away from the crowd. Alex goes to find him, but she doesn't see him. Then, Alex and Avery walk along the beach, they notice the turtle from the night before was gone. They follow some tracks and Alex thinks that her family might be behind this. They put the thought away and continued following tracks that led to a truck with a notebook full of coordinates. After that, they find another turtle with marks on it. Captain Reyes helps them, and they see a massive turtle that has been hurt. Soon, they see a charter that crushes eggs and causes destruction. They try to stop it, but only manage to capture some photos. After some thinking, they finally come to the conclusion that Alex's family is doing this. Avery later calls Alex because poachers have crushed sea turtle eggs. Then, they gather the evidence they have and gather volunteers to help them defeat the poachers. Alex gives a speech to the other people in an act to get people to help them stop poachers. They form a patrol to help keep nests safe. Next, along with the patrol, Alex releases a sea turtle back into the sea. After this, they find some tracks, follow it, and find prints. Soon, Captain Reyes comes to see, and confirms these were horse prints that might have scared off the poachers. Later, Maya finds a notebook with different details on the island. It matched the poachers' disturbances around the sites, so they could use it as proof for the authorities. The group calls another meeting tomorrow, and sees the same tall guy with the baseball cap. He threatens them and leaves. The meeting finishes which starts a new journey.
