Gemma and Harrison have made it out of 1393 England alive, and now are preparing to spend the entire summer together. Despite the stress Gemma must go through to fight for Harrison (who just happens to be the only outsider who knows the family's time-traveling secret), the summer starts out all right. That is, until a stranger, Gabe, visits Gemma on the beach, and later claims to be her father. She is defiant to the idea, because it also suggests that the people who raised her are kidnappers and murderers.
