The Winter of the Robots is about four kids named Rocky, Dmitri, Oliver, and Jim, who like robots. They have a science fair and a mystery on their hands. Jim is tired of doing arts and crafts while his science fair partner, Oliver, does all the robotics. He finds a new science fair partner , and that's when their adventure begins. Their adventure include new friendships, seven feet of snow, stolen cameras, and robot tasers.

Opinion:

This is an exciting adventure and mystery book. The junk yard setting felt real enough to touch. I liked the main characters a lot because they stuck together no matter what happened.I thought the robot competition was really cool and exciting. The only thing I didn't like about the book was how short tempered Jim's dad was.
