Royal Sweets is about Mini and Taffy, fairy princesses, who are trying to help a troll named Gobo get out of a bush that he is stuck in. While Mini and Taffy are figuring out how to help Gobo, Mini’s suspicious cousins, Frosting and Cupcake, try to figure out what Mini and Taffy are up to. Will they end up helping each other or getting in each other's way?

Opinion:

I liked how the book was sweet and talked about candy.  All the characters were named after a type of sweet. My favorite was Mini because she liked helping others.

I didn’t like how there wasn’t a long, complicated plot in the book. It was a simple plot, which is why I think this book is good for 6-8-year-olds. I feel that girls would like the book more than boys because it has fairies, princesses, and princes.

Royal Sweets is a cute book about friendship. Overall, I thought it was excellent.
