Prissy Little Chloe: Time of the Year is about a girl named Jaden who wanted a puppy but couldn’t get one because her parents wouldn’t let her. When she asked her dad why not, he said because it would grow too big and then they wouldn’t have space for it. So, Jaden went online and searched for puppies that are small, cute, and do cool tricks. She found Yorkies and asked her mom if she could get one. One day they went to the flea market and saw a Yorkie. Jaden’s mom finally agreed to buy it! They brought it home and named her Chloe. From that day on, every day was a surprise because of Chloe!

Opinion:

Prissy Little Chloe: Time of the Year is a good book. I like how it uses cartoon-like pictures to express more details. I also like how it describes the characters’ feelings using sayings and onomatopoeia. The only thing I don’t like is that some events are not that special to be presented in the book. But overall, I like it and will recommend this book to kids ages 9 and below who like reading adventurous and humorous stories.
