Lunch Lady and the Schoolwide Scuffle is a comic book style story, also known as a graphic novel.  The Lunch Lady is a creative and unique super hero.  The author does a great job of keeping the characters funny by giving them witty dialogue.  She even makes the evil characters funny.   In this story, the kids at the school are being bullied by a new superintendent, principal and teachers.  They are all really bad people who escaped from jail.   The Lunch Lady is brought back to the school to help save the day!  As the story moves along, we find out that this new superintendent is interested in much more than bossing students around!  You’ll want to read it to find out what her real intentions are!

Opinion:

I really enjoy graphic novels, especially funny ones.  This book has a unique storyline.  I like that it made the leaders of the school evil because sometimes I feel my real teacher and principal are mean!  It would be nice to have a super hero like Lunch Lady to come in and rescue me!
