The Greatest Wish is an intriguing story that can be read and re-read over and over again! Written in first person, the reader is taken on a journey of wishes. Would you rather be a Christmas tree or a rainbow? A giraffe or a dinosaur? With each decision made, the reader creates the story, sometimes flipping to the next page or skipping a few. Every page has something new, giving the reader a choice and then guiding them onward. The choices made lead the reader on an ever-changing story, eventually coming to a conclusion and answering the nagging question: Are all these wishes really that great? Discover the power of choices in The Greatest Wish.

Opinion:

This book is truly wonderful. I am thirteen years old, and I still enjoyed reading this story! Beautiful illustrations cover the book’s every page, adding clarity and visualization. Clever rhymes tell the tale and give the reader a choice about every other page; arrows point clearly to which page the reader is to turn to next. This adorable book is perfectly written and ends with telling the reader how unique and special they are. Children of all ages (maybe even adults!) will love to look through this fascinating story full of choices.
