One day, when Dean Curse was late for school, he walked down a dark alley. As he walked down his school shortcut, he saw a man getting jumped on by what looked to be robbers. He bravely pulls out his wallet and acts as if it is a cell phone, though it really doesn’t look like one at all. Then he yells to the men that he is calling the cops. The dying man grips Dean's wrist, coughs up blood on his t-shirt, and whispers one word- Glimpse. From then on, some very odd things start happening to Dean and the people around him.

Opinion:

Glimpse is definitely the kind of book that you would want to read over and over. It is definitely full of adventure, but as you look at the cover you think that the person on the cover is traveling in time. It’s not really that way because the story doesn’t go back in time.  Glimpse is filled with adventure, like a balloon filled with so much air that anymore would make it pop. Glimpse is really a very good book. It makes you feel like you are right there, and it has many details.

Content rating - some mature content

Explain your content rating:

While reading the book, I have not noticed anything offensive. It includes violence, but does not include crude comments, swearing, or the misuse of drugs. Because of what Glimpse is generally about, the act of violence keeps the book popping with adventure. Because of the violence in the book, it does give it a taste of dangerous adventure.
