In the book Awakening, the author tells about how Emma has people trying to kill her, but Sarah and her crew have to save Emma from all this danger. This paranormal story is set in present day and begins when sixteen-year-old Emma is having strange dreams and things happening to her. After that, she finds out she’s awakening and tries to find out more. So, she has bad people trying to kill her at all different points. Will Emma survive all this danger? Read Awakening to find out!

Opinion:

I highly recommend the book Awakening. I really enjoyed it because it kept me reading when intense parts came along. It was odd at points because she was always imagining things, and this book had lots of action like when Emma gets attacked. I disliked this book at points because it didn’t clearly say when Emma was in a dream. Also, it didn’t really say what was going on in the beginning. I enjoyed sixteen-year-old Emma just being herself during most of the book. I would rate this book 4/5 stars and would encourage readers between 12-15 to check it out.
