THIS BOOK IS PART OF THE HUNTER'S UNIVERSE SERIES

Kidahin is a part of an alien race called Eyolni and is a team-two assaultmistress. She leads the other huntresses on team two on their first independent mission. The Eyolni is a female dominant species, and Delwyn is the only male on their ship, the Hunter's Moon. However, doubt starts to creep into Kidahin's mind when she thinks about how important her mission is and as she starts to question if she can protect Delwyn, who is also their war leader. Because of a shipwreck of Earth's colonies, space is starting to "fray" and Kidahin and the rest of the Eyolni are in big trouble. As pressure grows and Kidahin experiences more losses and confusion, she starts to question if she can carry out the mission. Will Kidahin be able to stay strong? Or will the earth colonies' destroyer Londiwe Khoza hurt Delwyn and the rest of the Eyolni?

Opinion:

Overall, this book was a good Sci-Fi read. I really enjoyed how the story was so "out of this world" and all the characters and settings were very different than what we have on earth. Another thing I liked was how the author was able to create suspense throughout the story, and no one part of the story felt boring. The one thing that I did not like about this book was that the beginning was very confusing. We learned a lot of information in the span of a few pages, and I found it hard to keep track of everything, especially since most of the things in the story were different from what we have on earth. However, as I read more into the story, I began to understand more of what was happening. Lastly, I liked how we saw character development in Kidahin throughout the book, as well as the personality of the supporting characters peek through such as Jassalin and Tialdrin. I am not a huge fan of Science Fiction novels, but I still enjoyed reading this book. Fans of Sci-Fi are sure to love the book Assaultmistress Kidahin
