When Zack and his family go to their usual vacation spot, he realizes something is different; there are fewer people than usual. When a few people go missing, Zack and his friends decide to figure out what is going on. Zack and his friends, Lamar and Nola, are having supper with Nola’s grandfather. Her grandfather tells them a story about how different countries did nuclear bomb tests underground. They figure out a nuclear bomb test was done under the mountain near them years ago. They end up finding The Atlas of Cursed Places, which gives them a few answers. What answers did The Atlas of Cursed Places give them? Will Zack and his friends find out who is behind the whole thing? Read the book to find out!

Opinion:

This was one of my favorite books in The Atlas of Cursed Places series. I loved the friendship Zack had with Nola and Lamar. I also loved how the person behind it all is someone you never see coming. I loved how the clues were always coming at me. Even with all the clues, I would have never guessed who was behind it all. I also loved how Zack’s brother runs into the woods and finds a creepy, old, and run-down shed. Radioactive was a great book!
