In The Bolds To The Rescue, the Bolds are a family of hyenas who pose as humans. Other animals, including horses, sheep, a crocodile, and a poodle, ask the Bolds to help them learn to pose as humans too by teaching them to walk on their hind legs and eat properly (the other animals were having trouble learning to eat properly, which was a funny part of the book).

Opinion:

I would recommend this book because it is laugh-out-loud funny. For example, the horses want to be gardeners and are good at “fertilizing” what they grow. Also, Mr. Bold tells funny jokes throughout the book. The events in the plot flow well, leading from one to the next, except for one character from the beginning who suddenly reappears near the end of the book. Overall, I thought the book was hilarious. I would rate this book five stars and would recommend it to anyone ages 7-11 who enjoys a good laugh.
