LitPick Review
This book is very serious and takes place in Germany during World War II. His best friend thought Friedrich was lucky because Friedrich had a nice house and enough money. Things quickly change.
Opinion:
Friedrich is a sorrowful account of a young adult in Europe during World War II. It helps remind us how lucky we are today in America and in other countries with dictators who promote racism and hatred between classes. I recommend this book to those students who would enjoy a good historical ficiton about World War II.
