This is a charming tale about two mischevious brothers, Russell and Floyd, and their adventures. As soon as summer ends, their teacher, Ms. Myrt Arbuckle, passes away. In hopes that they would never go to school again, they never expected that their sister, Tansy, could ever accept the job. The Teacher's Funeral is all about the pranks, journeys, and loves in the school year of 1904.

This book is about the life of two young djinn, John and Philippa Gaunt. In a dream, their Uncle Nimrod tells them that they need to come to London immediatly. Little did they no that a simple trip to see a relative would turn into a journey of self-discovery, adventure, terror, magic, and mystery.

This story is about a girl, Gracie, who can see into the future. Her mother died a year ago in a terrible car crash, and since then she has had to live with her Aunt Shay, who she doesn't like at all. When her best friend Emily disappears one day, she must use her powers to same her friend before it's too late. The combination of the characters set the mood for the book. Zed is a mysterious character, and he makes the mysteries in the book more exciting. I found myself guessing who has done what and what would happen next, but I never seemed to guess correctly.

This is a story about the time when two young boys, Brian and Gregory, and invited to their uncles house for a visit. In the house, they find a mysterious game board. They never knew that something so simple as a seemingly childs game could be the decision of their staying alive. I love the imagination of the author and their descriptions of the monsters and beasts in the book. Some of them were well known creatures, such as trolls, but many of them were completely made up by the author himself. The plot is a little bit hard to understand, because the history of the game is confusing.
