This book is about a boy named Lazslo, who has to keep a secret that his family can turn into wolves any time they want. Lazslo has to decide if he wants to be in two worlds all the time, or should he be a wolf, or stay a human. Lazslo tries to find out who it is he wants to be. A person who wants to see werewolves hung, or a wolf that lets him experience a different world. Lazslo's family is being tracked down by people who think wolves are cruel, but Lazslo is the one who really gets to see what wolves are really like and what people are really like and the differences between these creatures.

Opinion:

I thought that this book was very boring for the first ninety pages. The book had not yet come to the part where Lazslo could turn into a wolf and did not have many big details or main points. In the first ninety pages it only talked about characters that were actually small parts of the book's background. The characters of Lazslo's parents were well-developed. Lazslo's parents characters did not show the feelings that they had when they were wolves, but did show the feelings they had about their son being a wolf and the way they felt about changing all the time. Lazslo's character was also well-developed because when I was reading the book I could really appreciate his feelings about being a wolf. I also liked this book because it is very different from other books since it compares humanity to wolves. This book also gave me a feeling of a wolf's point of view and a human's point of view and how different they are. Jennings should have developed the background of a wolf's world a little better by describing where the wolves lived. He also should have described the personalities of the other wolves in the forest to give us a better feeling about what wolves are really like. Over all though it was a pretty good book.
