When Strawberries Bloom, by Linda Byler, is about a girl, Lizzie, who is in the running around stage in her Amish Community. This is the time you turn 16 to the time you get married. Like any teenager she has problems with friends, boys, what she wants to do, and her faith. She has times where she gets jealous of her friends or younger sister for going on dates, while she hasn't been on one herself. But the whole time there has been a guy, Stephan, who has liked her from first sight but Lizzie never paid attention. Also through the story Lizzie is teaching school. She has her patience tested and learns how to deal with it. But Lizzie needs to find God to help her through her life.

Opinion:

When Strawberries Bloom is an amazing book. It is the second book in the Lizzie Searches for Love Series. Even though I did not read the first one in the series, I fell in love with characters. The author put it in the right concept for readers to get into Lizzie's life. Through the book I learned more about the Amish Religion and way of life. The book sets itself in front of others in religious-fiction because it shows the difference between Amish and English life. I really can't wait until I get to read the third book in the series of Lizzie Searches for Love.
