Faith is completely and utterly bored with her life. It is the same thing every day. Wake up, go to work, eat dinner, and then go to bed. She thinks that she is pretty satisfied with her life, but deep down she wants more. Then Trent becomes part of her life. Mysterious and charming, he is a vampire from Ireland. Trent accidentally gets Faith involved with his vampire problems and she gets caught in the chase to find stolen vampire and werewolf gems. Faith learns that she is a witch - the very last of her kind. Together she and Trent and some unusual friends must help get the stolen gems back from unknown assailants. Will she get the gems back and defeat the evil powers that are yet to be discovered? Or will she perish and leave the Earth, forever?

Opinion:

Vampyre Kisses will have you on the edge of your seat with the turn of every page. It has a very good story line. This book tells the story from three perspectives, Trent, Faith, and Morgan. It makes the story a lot more interesting to learn about what each character is thinking in the situation. It is different from most vampire stories. It is set in New York City which makes it seem very realistic. Plus, you dont usually see witches and vampires in the same book. I think this book is a great and mystifying tale for those who love vampire and witch fiction.
