The Stormchasers' crew needs to find a way to pay back the money that they owe. On their next visit to Mother Horsefeather, who they owe money to, they get a chance to pay off the debt. She offers them a way to pay off their debt, and have their ship repaired. But, the job they have is very dangerous. They have to go searching for stormphrax, a rock that is extremely heavy. Stormphrax can only be made during a huge storm. A lightning bolt makes stormphrax. It is very hard to see where the bolt lands, but if you are in the middle of the storm you can see where the stormphrax lands. This voyage is not only extremely dangerous, but with the stormphrax Twig can save Undertown and the places around it from an Evil Dictator. This dictator is destroying much, just so he can have power.

Opinion:

This book is very exciting, and a lot of the time, Twig was in danger. The author explains details in the story very nicely and thoroughly. This makes you feel as if you are the character, and you feel what the character is feeling. The plot of this story is very complicated, but you understand it. There is so much happening at one time in the story, and all of it is important.
