Luke was locked in a room full of caskets one day while his mother was gone. His stepfather Sal, didn't understand why it was such a bad thing to do but Luke's mom thought differently. The family ran a funeral home. Luke's mother was a cosmetician and Sal prepared the bodies. Luke's mother was always the last to touch the bodies and had said the last person to care for them became who the protected. Therefore Luke always thought his mom had many protectors. So when Luke's mom had been reported dead by a fire and the only remains of bones, Luke needed the protectors help to solve the mystery. How does Sal act? What does Luke find? Is she alive?

Opinion:

The Protectors was a good book! Although it was difficult to understand in parts I enjoyed it! I would deffinitely recommend it to others! Anyone who enjoys
suspence, mysteries, and crime stories will love this book. The only thing I really didnt like about the book was how short it was and how small the plot
seemed. I was suprised by how it ended but it is a very good book!
