Have you ever watched the Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer Christmas special when it comes to that time of year? And when Rudolph learns to walk, everyone starts singing "Put one foot in front of the other...." Well this is Gert Garibaldi's philosophy, only she changed the words up a bit. Live life one butt cheek at a time, and you will get through it. Gert has been living for almost sixteen spanking years, and life is still complicated. She has to do an asigment with her worst enemy, find a way to make her dream crush realize they were meant to be, and shes turning sixteen, so she also has to suffer through drivers ed. Gulp. Will she survive? Will she ever get a boyfriend? And will her best friend(who just happenes to be gay) ever get his boyfriedn to realize they we ment to be more then just people who hang out with each. One butt cheek at a time, Gert Garibaldi lives her life. And it couldn't be more funnier.

Opinion:

Catching what high school is like for those of us who aren't a cheerleader or a jock, Amber Kizer relates to those of us who are left behind in those high school stories. One butt cheek at a time is a perfect novel for girls, and even for those brave guys that are willing to be caught readinng a book that has the word butt in it. Or for those guys who are brave enough to be caught just reading. Funny, eventful, and captivating, everyone who picks up this book will not be able to put it down until they have read it. One Butt Cheek At A Time.
