Marshall is ready for this school year to end and his summer to finally begin. Everything is planned out for him and his best friend Cooper. Marshall's summer plans are ruined though when Cooper has to spend the summer with his parents at their summer house. That is when the haunting began. Being alone in the house with his father away, Marshall starts to hear the noises. After the noises, he starts to see things that are unexplainable. Realizing he is being hunted and haunted makes him decide that something has to be done. When he cannot reach Cooper at his summer house, Marshall starts to think if the haunting is just about him. Taken on unnerving and daunting adventures, Marshall starts to see the impossible and faces things that cannot be explained. Twisted and dark events start to unfurl. The built up unanswered questions cause Marshall to take matters into his own hands and lead him to answers that he does not want to find.

Opinion:

This book was a fantastic mystery and easy to read. The author writes in a way that is very approachable from a teenager's point of view. The suspense was incredible.
