As Odella's life seems to be falling apart, her mother drinks all the time and then one day she left them completely. Left Odella in charge of her two sisters, Janelle and Sarah, and her Dad. And one day she receives a call from her mother's boyfriend who told her that their mother has died. Now their lives fall apart. As Odella tries to keep her family together, this task gets harder and harder to do. That is until she met this guy named Jimmy Tomasson. They fall in love, and she moves to Mistik Lake to work at a summer job while she stays in her Aunt's cottage and spends as much time with Jimmy as possible.

Opinion:

The book was good, and I enjoyed reading it. I liked the ending, but I don't think it should be for a 14 year old. It had illegal drinking, sex, and homosexuality. Overall, it was a good book, but I think it should be for older teens.
