This book tells the true story of a third world country that was lacking both food and money. A doctor had a unique idea: could mangrove trees feed the livestock in this country? Although a worthy plan, this would not come easily - they would have to plant the trees and wait for them to grow. Eventually the mangroves grew into a 4 mile forest!

Opinion:

This is a good book for children. This book is interesting and has a good moral. The authors' definitely achieved their purpose in explaining how the scientist carefully chose this tree, measured the progress of livestocks growth, and oversaw the health improvement of the entire village. I recommend others read this book, as it is both fun and educational.
