Scott Penleton Collins is a made up character but it tells the story of D-Day and the days that came after it.

Opinion:

This book is a great personal account of an important event in our history that should never be forgotten.  I found the journal very interesting and it made you feel like you were with our troops during the landing and fighting.  I highly recommend this book, especially if you want a different perspective on D-Day than you can get from history books.
