Jules Magnus is a magicless wizard. Her Seventh sense became stunned after she tried to open the vault containing her lost father. Her best friend is Lance, a runt dragon. Jules has a twin brother, Dari, who is a dis- enchanter just like her. They save the life of a stranger, whose name they first thought was Rod because of a necklace he wore. But after Rod's parents come to claim him, they find out his name is really Royse. They do many things and suffer much to restore Jules's Seventh sense, fix the Maze, and find Jules's father. But in the end, they fix the Maze and the Magnus family is complete again.

Opinion:

It took me over a month to finish this book. It just didn't interest me. I think it could have been a lot better written. This book was written in third person and I prefer them in the first person, so that made it worse for me. I didn't feel that it got good until the very end. Even then it didn't impress me much. All in all, this was not a book I would recommend.
