This novel is a wonderful romantic thriller. Jasmine, a girl whose destiny has been hidden from her from the time she was young has to make a brave choice. Should she stick with the comfortable and safe life that she has always known, or should she follow the path that has been written as her destiny? While trying to figure out who she really is, Jasmine meets a rockstar famous boy, named Levi. Her entire life, Jasmine, was too engrossed in her studies to ever have time for boys, but Levi changes all of that. Jasmine is oddly attracted to him and she doesn’t know if it is because he is her carrier- someone who is intertwined with her destiny- or if she has feelings for this boy whom she thought could never be her type.
Opinion:
I really enjoyed this novel. This book constantly keeps readers on the edge of their seats, wondering what is going to happen next. The suspense leaves readers wondering who, if anyone can they trust in this novel. The author creates an interesting new concept of emopheridies and does a good job of explaining what they are, and how they work. I would suggest this book to anyone over the age of 12 that is is looking for a great book filled with suspense and romance.
