Shiloh, a thirteen year old girl, embarks on a mission to rid her world of aliens who devastated her life and took her family two years prior.  After a failed attack on an alien named Dracula, she reluctantly partners with a peculiar, hairless cat alien who claims to know where the enemy spaceship is. With the chance to obliterate these creatures once and for all, Shiloh struggles with her desire to kill her irritating companion. When she befriends another unexpected ally named Rita, they stick together for a journey of a lifetime. Throughout this long journey, Shiloh battles with her inability to open up, but she learns that maybe hope and friends do not make her weak. As the group races against time to save  humanity, they wonder if they will get out of this alive.

Opinion:

I don't think words could explain how much I enjoyed this book! It was filled with sarcasm, adventure, sci-fi, and emotion. With the characters uniquely crafted, Shiloh stands out as a relatable, brave heroine who fights fiercely for her friends and never backs down. The author's tone creates a desire in the reader to keep going as the plot twists and turns. The ending leaves a lingering desire in the reader for more.  I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a blend of adventure and a little fun!
