Cryers Cross by Lisa McMann This book is about a girl named Kendal Fletcher who has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Kendal lives in the small town of Cryers Cross. The town is shaken when a young girl goes missing. Kendal's OCD starts to act up but she deals with it because her best friend Nico is there for her. When Nico also goes missing Kendal does not know what to do. Her OCD is getting worse and soccer, the only thing that helps her cope, is taken away when the team gets cut. Kendal learns about secrets that her town has been hiding and what these secrets have to do with the disappearance of the teenagers.

Opinion:

This book was a realistic fiction and mystery story. The plot has several twists and turns which kept me reading. The book was very well written and took me by surprise several times. The author did a good job telling the story in third person. You could really understand what was going through Kendal's head . I felt like I could imagine Kendal as a person and relate to her. I would recommend this book to people who like mystery and realistic fiction. For ages 13 and up.
