Blood and Guitars is about a vampire, Aurora, and a mortal,Trey, who meet in a night club. Aurora doesn't know that Trey is a famous singer in a band called Catalyst. Aurora plans on drinking his blood that night, but something about him stops her. In this book, vampires don't kill people when they drink from them, but their drinking from the human causes the human to have an instinct to stay away from that vampire. Aurora is a very talented artist. She agrees to do the artwork for Catalyst's new album so she will have an excuse to be with Trey. Aurora is very popular among the men vampires. She is putting Trey in danger by continuing to see him. They have set out to kill Trey because they believe that a human that Aurora spends so much time with has to have delicious blood.
