LitPick Review
Colt McAlister didn't want to save the world, be the earth's last line of defense, or be targeted for assassination. Of course, he didn't want his parents to be dead either, and life doesn't work that way. Because Colt may be Earth's last chance of survival against the alien species Thule, he's sent to CHAOS Military Academy to be trained to defend the earth - along with his two friends, Oz and Danielle. But with an alien assassin wanting him dead, he doesn't know what to believe, or whom to trust. In his gripping, page-turning novel, Jon S. Lewis will leave you on the edge of your seat - practically begging for more.
Opinion:
I don't even know where to begin with this book - I'm just going to start with "Why haven't I read the first book in this series?" Lewis has such precise detail in this story, it feels like you're a part of it. Let me say this right now, if you love action and/or futuristic movies but your parents took away your TV, this is definitely the book for you. It kept the adrenaline pushing through my veins, and I knew that I had to know what would happen to Colt next. Granted, the author did drift away sometimes and it got boring, but he came back with another strong and unexpected twist that had me engaged again.
