LitPick Review
"The Stars Of Summer" is a book that you just can't put down. This sequel to All Four Stars brings back Gladys Gatsby, a twelve-year-old secret food reviewer. It must be secret because she is underage. The only people who know about it are her closest friends-not even her parents are aware of her responsibilities.
For her birthday she decides to go to a fancy resturant in the city. While she is there she plans out what everyone will order, so she can see how everything tastes. This is her cunning way to taste key items for her review. Gladys wants to continue to write reviews during the upcoming summer, but her friend gives her a "gift" of a free summer at her family's camp as a Counselor in Training. How is Gladys suppose to write food reviews if she is at a summer camp all day?
The action continues in this fun book.
Opinion:
When I got the book "The Stars Of Summer" and started reading it, I could not put it down. I think the book is a fun read and is very interesting. The humor is fun and the characters are memorable. There are enough exciting turns in the plot that keep Gladys on her toes. This book would be a great choice for a person who likes cooking, or tuning in to food-related entertainment.
