There are vampires and humans in the town of Morganville. Only eight of those humans have the ability of getting to stay alive. By wearing a special pin, Eve, Claire, and Shane, have the ability of not getting their blood sucked. Sounds good huh? Well, Micheal, Eve's boyfriend, is a vampire, but he's a good one. When the four friends/ two couples, go on a trip to Dallas, they are escorted by an elderly vampire named Oliver. When Oliver stops to run a few "errands" with Micheal, Jason, Eve's brother shows up and the three humans, Claire, Shane, and Eve, end up getting in a bunch of trouble. This led to the problem of Eve's spectacular car getting burnt by a couple of trouble makin' truckers. Morley, one of Morganville's BAD vampires, gets lose out of the city with a group of vampires supporting him. One bad thing after the other happens to the three humans such as getting thrown in jail. Morley, takes a "visit" to the jail and kidnaps the officer, and Claire, Shane, and Eve. When the humans are put in the truck, they find that Morley and his crew have kidnapped many other people. When they are taken to a different town, Micheal and Oliver show up, only to find that Morley's crew, and the other five, must come together as allies to defeat the newly born vampires who were on a rampage in the small town. Can the group put their horrible encounters behind them, or will it be the last one standing takes all? Read this wonderful book to find out.

Opinion:

I thought this book was fantastic! I loved how I could just read one page and I couldn't stop! So far, this book has been my favorite and it's awesome how the four friends could be so clever and think alike to get out of the horrible situations. I recommend this book to mature readers, because it was some-what inappropriate, but I still loved it!
