LitPick Review
When fourteen-year-old Sam McLean moves to a little neighborhood full of old mansions on the outskirts of a small town called Ringwood, strange things start to happen. Just as Sam starts to hang out with Cody Barns (otherwise known as Maniac) and his lunatic of a sidekick Javon, they convince Sam to join them on one of their crazy stunts that they planned to video tape and put on Cody's blog. The stunt goes wrong and Cody and Sam flee the scene leaving Javon alone, dead. As mysterious notes are left in Sam's locker and messages are sent to Cody's blog from an unknown person, Sam struggles to stay sane. One question stays in Sam's head: Who else knows what really happened that night?
Opinion:
This story left me wanting more after every page. Ghost Ride had a good spooky twist to it. Any fiction lover, mystery fanatic, or someone just wanting a good book to read will love this action, adventure novel. I'm not a person who usually likes this kind of spooky books, but for a ghost story, it was pretty good. It has definitely gotten me more interested in ghost novels. What's really creepy, is this almost reminded me of my house and where I live, sleep, eat, and drink. Read: Ghost Ride, Ghost Ride, Ghost Ride...
