This book is a guide to how to live in an alternate universe called the "Uglyverse". This is a place where everyone is ugly. There are 27 sections about different topics, and how to live well in those specific topics. Some of these topics include: birth, grade school, junior high, and high school. This book is filled with many humorous puns. The characters are all cartoon-style drawings.

Opinion:

I thought that this book was very creative. It was filled with many funny puns, and some corny ones. One thing that I didn't like about this book was that there wasn't really any main plot. It was mainly a guide. Overall, This book was fairly well written, and I would recommend it to younger kids.
