LitPick Review
Ayla was found as a human baby in a forest next to a dwarf village. An old widower finds her and decides to take her in as his own child. Sixteen summers pass, and Ayla begins to feel more like an outcast in the village than a member. After a public humiliation, she escapes into the forest to avoid the embarrasment of seeing her dwarf father. After being startled, she falls into a deep stream and that carries her away. The next day she finds herself far away from her dwarf home with her own species. Taken away by other humans, she finds that she is the key to ignite old powers involving the Creator God and an evil known as Kal, along with a defeated kingdom.
Opinion:
Many things about this novel kept my interest the whole 238 pages. The pages are filled with adventure and fantasy, and with simple unique twists. After reading three-fourths of the novel, stopping is not an option. Not only was the novel a pageturner, but it leaves the reader wanting more. It is an easy and quick read with straightforward vocabulary. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to read a great tale.
