LitPick Review
In a town with a secret hour, time freezes for everyone during midnight. Four children are granted the ability to move in the secret hour. When a new girl comes to town, she stirs up unusual activity from the creatures that also live in the secret hour. To the other midnighters, Jessica Day is a misfit with nothing special about her. Other than her strange eyes, that is. A mysterious novel that leaves you wondering, Midnighters: The Secret Hour will make your heart skip a beat.
Opinion:
One of the strangest books I've ever read, Midnighters: The Secret Hour, is also one of the best written books. The suspense was so well- placed that it was spooky, but not so scary that it was stupid. I thought that when I put the book down, (which is hard to do), I had so many questions and predictions running through my head that when I picked it back up, I forgot what had happened. As a final note, the ending was great, and it also made me really want to know more. I can't wait for the next book.
