This book is historical fiction. Some of the characters and events are loosely based on real people and events that occurred in the 1800's and 1900's. This book is about the contest of an eccentric millionaire named J. Andrew Nagle. He is hosting a race for the first contestant to bring back a complete dinosaur skeleton to his new museum. The story takes place across the United States as the contestants attempt to quickly retrieve dinosaur bones. The contestants develop complex relationships based on love, rivalry, and greed.
